The new Microsoft mouse with IntelliEye technology is suppose to eliminate all your current mouse problems since it does not have a rolling ball. However, its LED technology does have one serious problem that has not been mentioned.

The mouse works erratically or not at all on many surfaces that are green. This includes the green surfaces of on most drafting tables. If is also affected if you use a pad that includes some green colors on it.

This problem has been reported to Microsoft but no response has been received after notifying them last week. Hopefully Microsoft will begin to warn people that have light green desk surfaces that the mouse will not work properly.
